Park University’s Crimson Dancers held their tryouts and clinics during the last week of August, 2018. Led by President and founder, senior Abby Jeans, multimedia journalism and public relations major, the team learned dances to both a jazz and hiphop style routine.

While there are no cuts during the tryouts, the girls will be divided into a performance and practice team. The practice team will not only practice to work their way up to the performance team, but also have the opportunity to fill in when needed, much like an understudy.

Team captains junior Neek Brown and senior Gabby Bretz help to teach the dances and lead the team alongside Jeans. The Crimson Dancers will perform at basketball games and holiday festivals later this year.
