Stress relief during finals week
Finals week is approaching and the academic year is coming to a close. Stress and anxiety are two major conflicts that happen during the final weeks of the year. How do you stay stress free? How do you manage the stress you face?
There is a lot you can do help you relax and try to be a little less stress during the week of finals. First off when studying at home it helps to sip on tea and to have a heath snack
Another stress reliever is animals. Studies show that interactions with therapy animals candecrease stressin humans. Playing with or petting an animal canincrease levels of the stress-reducing hormone oxytocin.
Take a moment to breath. Sitting outside enjoying the fresh air can clear your mind and make it easier to study. My personal favorite stress reliever is music. Music is an escape and nothing makes me feel better than listening and singing along to my favorite song
Yoga can help a lot!! some of these poses are very easy and will help you to breathe and relax. If you’re feeling tense, sitting in the same place, studying for hours on end, yoga could be the perfect solution.
There are many more ways to stay stress free during finals week. Try a couple. Good luck
