Fall graduation scheduled for Dec. 13
As the end of fall semester rolls in, Park University is preparing for nearly 400 students to graduate with a Master’s, bachelor or associate degree.
At 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, approximately 300 of those students will walk across Independence’s Community of Christ Auditorium stage to receive their diploma, according to a press release.
Of those students, 100 will graduate with one of the following honor: summa cum laude, magna cum laude or cum laude.
Seniors should arrive no later than 9:45 a.m. to register and prepare for the ceremony.
Guests should take their seats before graduates’ processional line moves to the auditorium about 11 a.m.
During the ceremony, Terry Bassham, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Great Plains Energy and Kansas City Power and Light Company; will take stage with his keynote address.
Directions to the Community of Christ Auditorium can be found in the December 2014 Commencement Handbook at www.park.edu/commencement/.
