‘Dragon Age: Inquisition’ brings Bioware’s RPG fantasy series to a new level
Video game enthusiasts worldwide are anticipating the third installment of Bioware’s RPG fantasy series “Dragon Age” to be release Nov. 18.
“Dragon Age: Inquisition” will be the third game in the series and will take place in the fictional land of Thedas.
The first two games, “Dragon Age: Origins” and “Dragon Age II”, set up the various historical events and the political and social environments that will affect the atmosphere of the new game.
In “Inquisition”, the player character is dubbed the Inquisitor, the only survivor of a cataclysmic event called The Breach.
Like in the previous games, the player can choose to be male or female as well as a selection of races from the previous games including human, elf, and dwarf with the new addition of the playable Qunari race.
“Inquisition” will maximize the new wave generation of consoles’ gameplay with game company DICE’s new Frostbite 3 game engine.
Along with the new engine to run the game, there will be new ways for players to strategize on the battlefield using the Inquisitor’s abilities as well as the recently revealed companion characters.
The somewhat complex battle functions of the last two games being replaced by an updated, intuitive way of gaming will add a whole new layer of depth to the “Dragon Age” series.
With even more options for customization ever before via character creation, armor, weapons and team building, “Dragon Age: Inquisition” is set to be a classic in every RPG gamer’s library upon its release.
