Two promoted at Gilbert campus
As of April 1, according to Park University President Greg Gunderson, Ph.D., Sue Wilcox has been promoted to vice president of the university’s Gilbert, Arizona, campus, and Ben Zibers has been appointed associate vice president there as well.
Wilcox started working at Park in 2018 as senior director of project management within the Office of Information Technology Services at the university’s Parkville campus. For the last eight months, she has served the Gilbert Campus as its senior director of strategic delivery.
Zibers has worked for Park University since 2011, moving up from various positions within the Parkville campus’s Office of Student Life to his most recent position at the Gilbert campus as the senior director for enrollment and student services, which he started in September 2019.
In an interview with Zibers in late January, he made it clear that he is passionate about his work at Park University.
“One of the reasons I’ve stayed with Park is because I have the ability to make positive change, and I love the students and the people,” he said.
As Zibers mentioned back in January before his promotion, the most special part of being a Park employee is the ability to improve the lives of their students. “Every day, we have the ability to meaningfully and importantly change student lives,” said Zibers in January.
