What is trust? You want my opinion? To me, trust is a risk! There are multiple branches to break off from this word with different meaning. Some feel obligated to trust. Some don’t trust a soul because of something from their past. Some don’t trust because of everyday lies told. Trust to me is simply defined as a risk.
You are taking a risk. It will either bring you hurt or happiness, pain or joy, and life or death. It’s even been said the closest ones to you – such as family and friends – shouldn’t even be trusted. It’s okay to love them with all your heart but you can’t trust them all.
However, I believe that if you don’t trust them then you don’t love them.
We all wish people had signs on their head warning “don’t trust me”. Life doesn’t work like that, unfortunately, but life does give you signs.
It’s our responsibility to be more aware of what’s going on around us. Pay attention to those in your area and actually listen to what they talk about or say. Those are the hints that help you with taking this risk of trust.
It’s unfortunate you hear about stories of friends setting their friend up to be robbed or even murdered. Some things you just can’t control. These stories make you not want to trust a single soul right?
Relationships are at an all-time low in this day in age with so many social networks. It’s too easy to find someone. What’s going through your mind when you’re not on the phone with your partner 24/7? There’s no telling what he’s doing. I am a firm believer that if you think they are doing something to jeopardize the relationship, nine out of 10 times they are. They’ve had to have done something before to cause you to think like that.
