The Park University Women’s Volleyball team finished the regular season record of 34-5 and earned a trip to the NAIA National Tournament.
As this issue was going to press, the women had back-to-back losses at the tournament against Georgetown College and Concordia College. More information about the women’s showing at the tournament will be available in the first issue of the Stylus this spring.
The No. 13 Pirates faced and defeated Asbury University Nov. 23 at Breckon Sports Center. The win in this game afforded the team its chance at the NAIA championships at Breckon. The team pulled off the victory winning three straight sets. The journey continues now for the four seniors to end their final college year as champions.
Sioux City, Iowa, was the platform for the NAIA National Tournament, which started Dec.3.
After taking on Georgetown and Concordia, the women’s next opponent was Trinity Christian on Dec. 5. The final four teams will play Dec. 6 and 7.
